We are thrilled to announce that AIFS Abroad is a finalist for the 2022 GoAbroad Innovation Awards! AIFS is honored to be a high 5 finalist for the Innovation in Diversity Award.
The Innovation in Diversity Award acknowledges efforts to increase worldwide academic alternatives to historically underrepresented teams. Last 12 months, we launched the AIFS Plan of Action for Access, Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (AIDE).
This multifaceted plan focuses on six key areas of the research overseas expertise: Communications, Policies, Processes, Programs, Resources, and Staff and Training. Each theme has corresponding targets and accountability checkpoints to maintain us targeted on our objective to make worldwide education schemes accessible to extra college students.
GoAbroad states that “these awards acknowledge institutions, organizations, and individuals moving the field forward, and commend leaders in the community for their efforts to go beyond the conventional.”
Winners shall be chosen by the GoAbroad Innovation Award Academy, a committee of worldwide training professionals. The Innovation Awards are offered yearly in the course of the GoAbroad reception on the nationwide NAFSA convention. This 12 months, the GoAbroad reception shall be held on June 2, 2022 in Denver, Colorado.
